MORTON will face Airdrie in the play-off final after a dramatic last gasp moment of magic from Craig McGuffie saw them edge out Montrose at Cappielow tonight.
Ton went into the game 2-1 down from the first leg and stormed out of the traps into an early two goal lead, only for the Angus men to pull one back and ultimately force extra time.
It looked like the match was heading to penalties when an outrageous piece of skill from McGuffie settled things right at the death.
Gus MacPherson sprang a few surprises as he rang the changes with his line-up, bringing in Chris Millar at right back as one of four alterations from Saturday's defeat at Links Park. Cameron Salkeld also came in from the cold to start up front.
