Morrison & Co taps veteran US telco player for digital drive

Richfield Associates principal Gary Sugarman’s appointment fits with M-Co’s expansion plans.
Morrison & Co, the manager of NZX-listed infrastructure investor Infratil, has tapped an experienced US private equity fund principal to help drive its investment in North America’s digital sector.
Richfield Associates principal Gary Sugarman has been appointed the Wellington-based investor’s senior digital infrastructure adviser in the US, tasked with advising on opportunities within the data centre, fibre and connectivity sectors.
“We are delighted to welcome Gary to our team, at a pivotal time for our expanding business development activities,” Morrison & Co global head of private markets William Smales said.
