COURTESY OF MORE THAN WORDS
More Than Words, a youth-run bookstore that empowers and trains system involved young people has re-opened its bookstore to the Waltham community after 16 months.
The nonprofit got its start in Waltham in 2004, and today employs and supports 300 youth annually who are in the foster care system, court-involved, homeless and out of school across locations in Waltham and Boston’s South End.
The young people unveiled a renovated warehouse store today at 56 Felton St., selling new and used books and gift items sourced from other mission-driven businesses around the country. For more information, visit https://mtwyouth.org.
