Based on the DSWD’s Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) report, as of 6 p.m., April 29, the assistance provided by the agency and the local government units (LGUs) in Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern Visayas and Caraga totals P4,246,358.20.
The DROMIC said the number of affected families had reached 99,914 or 410,895 persons in 1,159 barangays from the four affected regions.
Meanwhile, the DSWD reported a total of 2,952 houses, 144 of which were totally damaged and 2,808 were partially damaged.
The DSWD had reported that all the 14,951 families or 58,431 persons who took temporary shelter in 737 evacuation centers have already returned home.
