GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- DTE Energy is working to provide hotel rooms, blankets and space heaters to 530 customers in Northeast Grand Rapids after an equipment malfunction halted their natural gas service Wednesday, Feb. 24.
The malfunction, in the area of Knapp Street NE and Perkins Avenue, was reported in the early evening hours of Wednesday. DTE shut off service in the area to make the repair.
