More than $50 million in drugs, 1,416 pounds of methamphetamine seized in Polk County investigation, officials say
Several arrests have been made and more than 1,400 pounds of methamphetamine have been seized after a recent investigation known as "Operation Dirty Water," officials with the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, Department of Homeland Security investigators from Tampa and Atlanta, and representatives from the Haines City Police Department and Georgia law enforcement agencies briefed the public on Thursday about the investigation of a drug trafficking organization with Mexican drug cartel ties, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.Sign up for our Newsletters
