More than 1 900 cats, dogs, livestock impounded by City of Cape Town's animal control unit

The City of Cape Town’s animal control unit has impounded 1 926 animals, including dogs, cats and livestock, from July last year to March this year. In 2021 for the same period, only 554 were impounded.
