More European ski lifts grind to a halt in peak season with slopes bare due to lack of snow in France and Austria: 'I didn't think I'd see it in my lifetime'

Resorts are reported to be shutting down their ski-lifts as their slopes are out of use due to the lack of snow, disappointing tourists who have travelled a long way.
