More Deaths as Covid-19 Cases Hit 99,983

Kenya has recorded 85 more Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours raising the total caseload to 99,983.
Unfortunately, 4 fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,744.
In a statement on Sunday, January 24, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that 2,985 samples had been tested over the period. The country has so far conducted 1,156,106 Covid-19 tests.
Of the positive cases, 46 are male and 39 are female. The youngest is a one-year-old child while the oldest is 88 years.
