MONTPELIER — A wrong-way driver was arrested late Wednesday night after Montpelier Police Department officers and Vermont State Police troopers intercepted the vehicle on Interstate 89. At 10:47 p.m. on May 2, authorities were alerted to a driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 89, approaching the Montpelier exit. Sergeant Michael Philbrick and
