Montgomery County records 33 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths in daily report

NORRISTOWN — Montgomery County recorded nearly three dozen new coronavirus cases and two more deaths on Wednesday, according to the latest daily report issued by county health officials.
The 33 daily new positive COVID-19 cases reported in the county on Wednesday brought the county’s total number of positive cases to 58,610 since March 7, 2020, when the first two cases of the virus were identified in the county, according to the county’s COVID-19 online dashboard.
Wednesday marked the 12th consecutive day that the number of new daily cases was below 100, a continuing sign the virus is being suppressed in the county as vaccinations increase.
