Monroe woman fatally shot, police say

MONROE COUNTY, MI – A woman was fatally shot Monday night in Monroe Township.
Katlynn Nicole Hill, 29, of Monroe, was fatally shot before 9:20 p.m., April 5, in the 6000 block of Greenwycke Lane, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
She was found dead in a home by deputies who arrived on scene, police said. Her death has been ruled a homicide, police said.
A 29-year-old Monroe man was arrested at the scene without incident, police said. He is lodged at the Monroe County Jail while the Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney decides if he should be charged.
