Solvay, N.Y. — There are a lot of Italian restaurants in this area, so one might wonder whether we need another. If the additional choice is as good as Mona Lisa’s, our answer is an emphatic YES!
After containing Morgan’s Restaurant for decades, the pretty house at 329 Fay Road in Solvay became Mona Lisa Ristorante at an awkward time. Opening about six months before COVID hit, building a new business has to have been an uphill climb. Given the quality we found, the newish restaurant owned and operated by the Corless family deserves every success.
