Molly Seidel to run Falmouth Road Race after competing in Women's Olympic Marathon

United States runner Molly Seidel will compete and raise money during the Falmouth Road Race later this month a little more than a week after participating in the Women's Olympic Marathon in Tokyo.
Seidel, 27, who placed second at the U.S. Olympic Trials last year, is set to run the marathon this Saturday. The Falmouth Road Race is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 15.
The former Notre Dame national champion will serve as the starter in Falmouth before lining up with the field as the last runner. For every runner she passes along the 7-mile course, Falmouth Road Race, Inc. will donate $1 to Tommy’s Place, a vacation home in Falmouth for kids fighting cancer.
