Moeller’s Musings: The Lone Ranger keeps wearing a mask

Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear when the Lone Ranger rides again. Or in this case, sits around a campfire talking to his faithful Native American (formerly Indian) companion Tonto. It seems the pair has just chowed down on some grub they got from a passing Chuck wagon. It was a high-class Chuck wagon so it was called a Charles wagon. In England it would be known as a Prince Charles wagon.
It was all-you-can-eat featuring buffalo ribs. Very tasty. Fifty cents, plus tax. The Lone Ranger paid with five silver bullets, which were just as good as money.
