ModaLisboa begins today
The 56th edition of ModaLisboa that starts today is the first 100 percent digital event, thus giving everyone the opportunity to follow, through computer screens, mobile phones or televisions, the presentations of the collections of more than 20 brands and designers.
The first 100 percent digital edition of ModaLisboa, takes place 30 years after the 1st, which took place in April 1991 at Teatro São Luiz. At that time, 13 designers presented collections for the winter of 1991/92. In April 2021, between today and Sunday, there will be more than 20 national brands and creators to present their proposals, without an associated season, similar to the previous edition. According to the organisation, it will be four days "to celebrate designer Fashion, discuss Sustainability and the Future, to get to know international projects and the national textile industry in depth, buy Portuguese Design and attend the meeting between Fashion and innovation".
