Mocs Softball Splits Doubleheader At Furman

Junior pitcher Brooke Parrott fired her second two-hit shutout of the week to help lead the Chattanooga Mocs softball team to a key 3-0 Southern Conference victory and doubleheader split at Furman on Sunday afternoon in Greenville, S.C. Chattanooga dropped game one, 9-5.
 
After the split, Chattanooga moves to 11-22 overall and 6-7 in the SoCon. Furman improves to 16-23 and 7-4 in league action. Only four teams advance to the SoCon Tournament this season due to COVID scheduling adjustments.
The Mocs currently remain a 0.5 game ahead of Mercer in fourth.
