MMIWR bill is racing the clock - Source New Mexico

To address the longstanding crisis of missing or murdered Indigenous people, two measures worked their way through the New Mexico Legislature. One still has a hurdle to clear in the final days of the session. The other is set, awaiting only the governor’s signature.
