Mitsui, Kobe Steel plans large-scale iron metallics plant in Duqm

Oman's Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan's Kobe Steel and Mitsui & Co to develop a large-scale low-CO2 iron metallics project in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD).
