The Patna Mahavir Mandir plans to send symbolic offerings of 'paag' (headgear), 'paan' (betel leaves), and 'makhana' (fox nuts) from Mithila, Bihar, to Ayodhya for Lord Ram's temple consecration on January 22. Sita, Lord Ram's wife, hailed from Mithila, renowned for its 'paan' and high-quality 'makhana'. The Mahavir Mandir will also operate a community kitchen, Ram Rasoi, in Ayodhya to serve devotees during the ceremony. The temple had previously contributed Rs 10 crore for the Ram Temple construction.
