Mississippi Comic Con wrapped up their event Saturday after a successful weekend.

"We're just so happy that the Comic Cons are back up and running," said Vandesteeg.

Matthew Hernandez, the host of this year's Comic Con, said he was also happy after having to cancel last year because of COVID. He said it is great to see comic book fans returning in large numbers.
"It's a beautiful thing. I am really happy to have everyone back here. We had a lot of ticket sales, and we are happy to see all the smiling faces," said Hernandez.
