A Columbus police detective looking for a missing person Monday afternoon found her — dead in a car parked at an apartment complex on the city's East Side.
The Columbus police Homicide Unit reports that the death of Infhon'e Edwards, 27, was a homicide. Her death is the 158th homicide this year.
Her body was found just after 2 p.m. in a car parked in the 2000 block of Winslow Drive at the Columbus Park Apartments complex, located off the west side of Alum Creek Drive north of Refugee Road.
Edwards' cause of death "is unknown at this time," and no suspect has been identified, according to a police release.
