Missing Chippewa County boy found in Tennessee

CHIPPEWA COUNTY — A 13-year-old boy who went missing on Thursday has been found safe.
According to a press release from the Kinross District Police, after initial investigation, officers determined that the child was possibly picked up by unknown suspects from another state.
The investigation continued into Friday and the Kinross District Police were assisted by Detective Jimmy McLeod from the Sault Tribe Police Department, Special Agent Todd Wilton from Homeland Security Investigations and FBI Special Agent Jay Johnston, as well as federal partners from the HSI based at the Chattanooga, Tennessee office.
