Mirwaiz Umar Farooq: J&K: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq released from house arrest after 4 yrs, to take part in Friday prayers at Srinagar's Jamia Masjid

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the chairman of the Hurriyat Conference, has been released from house arrest after four years. He will be allowed to participate in Friday prayers at the Jamia Masjid. The release comes after the Mirwaiz filed a petition with the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
