MINREX : Cameroon Thanked For Assisting Chinese

The Ambassador of China to Cameroon, Wang Yingwu during discussions with Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella on January 13, 2021 expressed the profound gratitude of his country to the Cameroon government for assisting Chinese who had fled the instability in the Central African Republic and found refuge in Cameroonian Eastern border town of Garoua-Boulai.Lire aussi : Budget Programming: Execution MPs Sharpen Analytical Skills
Over 4, 500 people fled the instability in the Central African Republic to Garoua-Boulai, among whom were 150 Chinese. President Paul Biya on Sunday, January 10, 2021 dispatched the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji to assure the affected Chinese of Cameroon’s hospitality.
