They stood in long lines at the Lou-is Resort while the others waited for their turn seated at the spacious Bataan People's Center. Parents added to the long queues since they are required to accompany the minors and were also asked to present identification documents as proof of their relationship. The children were given Pfizer or Moderna, the vaccines allowed for their age group. As early as 11 a.m., more than 400 minors were listed at the Lou-is Resort inoculation site where vaccinators said they can administer more than 1,000 vaccine doses a day. There was no data yet from the Bataan People's Center. A member of the Capitol Security Intelligence Unit who assists at the Bataan People's Center said they were informed that vaccination will continue until all those in the building have received their jabs. Governor Albert Garcia said vaccination for the age group and other priority groups will go on until there is available supply. Inoculation will continue until November 5 for minors aged 12 to 17 with comorbidities that started last October 29, the governor said. Meanwhile, the number of active Covid-19 cases continued to drop and was down to 573 as of Tuesday. Those who have tested positive for the virus reached 29,099 with the addition of 15 new confirmed cases while deaths reached 1,168 after listing one new fatality.
