Minister applauds formation of UAE Circular Economy Council

The newly established UAE Circular Economy Council provides an ideal platform to build synergies to expedite the implementation of the circular economy principles, said Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment.
The minister spoke soon after the UAE Cabinet’s approval of the formation of the UAE Circular Economy Council, chaired by Dr Al Nuaimi, a WAM report said.
Members of the new body comprise Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Teleworking Applications, and Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
