It's just about time to celebrate the city you know and love once again.
Since 2010, "Milwaukee Day" has been celebrated on April 14 (4/14) since it has the same digits as Milwaukee's area code, 414.
Last year, 414 Day festivities went virtual since the city was ordered to stay at home to fight the coronavirus.
This year, as restrictions have eased up, there are a mix of virtual and in-person events. And after the year we've had, who couldn't use a midweek pick-me-up?
Here's what we've found so far:
1. Virtual live music, helping others
The official Milwaukee Day group is partnering with The Cooperage for a night of virtual live music, according to Brent Gohde, one of the Milwaukee Day founders.
