An Allegheny County-based construction contractor will relocate and expand its manufacturing operations from Monessen to Westmoreland County’s I-70 Industrial Park.
The deal announced by the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corp. calls for Robinson-based Wyatt Inc. to purchase nearly 20 acres at the South Huntingdon park to serve as the company’s state-of-the-art millwork and exterior curtainwall manufacturing facility.
The company agreed to pay $380,000 for the property, where it said it intends to build a 120,000-square-foot plant about 20% larger than the one at the Monessen Riverfront Industrial Park, where it has been for two decades.
