Military couple shot dead by gunmen who were looking for their son over robbery'

US Army Colonel Edward McDaniel Jr, 55, and his wife, Brenda McDaniel, a retired colonel and nurse, were shot dead in Virginia on May 26, allegedly by a man who claimed to have been robbed by their son.
