Galway TD working on speeding up Primary Medical Cert assessment process

The Minister of State for Disability says she's working with the HSE to speed up the assessment process for Primary Medical Certs.
The scheme was suspended last summer after a Supreme Court decision, and only resumed in January.
The certs allow for tax-relief on adapted vehicles for drivers or passengers with a disability.
Minister Anne Rabbitte says she knows how important the scheme is - especially in rural Ireland.
