1: Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan unveils his proposed $333.8 million county budget for 2021. The spending plan is approximately $9 million smaller than the county's 2020 budget and calls for no increase in the amount to be generated by property taxes.

1: Two separate reports by Kingston police of shots being fired in Midtown follow reports a day earlier of shots fired, a violent armed robbery, and an assault in the city. A caller reports shots fired in front of 219 Downs St. about 5:30 p.m., followed six hours later by a report of shots fired in the area of Franklin and St. James streets.
