A few years ago at Auckland's Basement Theatre, Mick Innes told the crowd that when the grim reaper came calling you'd see claw marks on the floor.
The actor had already lived, according to those that knew him, many lives within his then 63 years. In his show,
Zen Dog, he reflected on his history which included, among other things, drug addiction, a few marriages, rehab and a psych ward.
The first series of
