Michigan Summer Beer Festival Cancelled, Again
Despite the new CDC recommendations and pandemic conditions continuing to improve, the 2021 Michigan Summer Beer Fest will be cancelled once again in 2021.
The Michigan Brewers Guild made the announcement this morning that the festival will be cancelled for the second year in a row. As there is still uncertainty around large gatherings, the city of Ypsilanti was uncomfortable hosting the event, and the guild says they understand and appreciate that decision.
Although the traditional Summer Beer Fest, usually held in July, is cancelled, Guild Executive Director Scott Graham says they are working on other summer plans for Michigan beer lovers:
