EAST LANSING - Greater Lansing residents can cross Michigan State University's Dairy Store off their list of ice cream shops to visit this summer.
The store, an institution on the East Lansing campus, won't reopen until at least September, Eileen Gianiodis, director of communications and marketing for the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, said this week.
The store's temporary pause in operations at its two on-campus stores was announced last September, due to "economic conditions" during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Plans to reopen "with a target of opening this fall, when students arrive back on campus" are underway, Gianiodis said in an email.
