A bus might be the solution.
In Vero Beach, Florida, there’s a 45-foot overnight emergency shelter on wheels that features 20 sleep pods with curtains and a bathroom. It’s called the Dignity Bus.
The bus has been an effort over several years, spearheaded by Anthony Zorbaugh, executive director for The Source, a Christian outreach ministry based in Florida, but the bus officially opened its doors to people of Indian River County in mid-March.
Zorbaugh touts the bus as the “first mobile emergency center in the country”, which was originally a Greyhound bus.
