Michelle Woodruff was brought to court after she assaulted an officer at Kendal police station.
South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court heard the 51-year-old defendant kicked out at PC Emma Davis while waiting to be taken into a cell at the station.
Woodruff admitted assaulting an emergency worker when she appeared before District Judge John Temperley.
Lee Dacre told the court how the offence happened in the early hours of April 20.
He said the police officer had visited the defendant’s before detaining her at the police station.
“She went with the defendant to a holding cell,” he said.
“The defendant appeared very drunk and wasn’t making sense.
