MHA seeks report from Bengal govt on post-election violence
With continued incidents of violence in West Bengal after declaration of election result, the Union home ministry has sought a report from the West Bengal government on the issue.

The West Bengal Assembly election has been mired in violence with continued reports of attack on party members and there has been an escalation since poll results were declared on May 2. In the wake of continued incidents of violence, the Union home ministry has sought a report from the West Bengal government on the issue of post-election violence.
