MG Motor offers the SUV with a choice between three engine options. In India, however, we believe the British carmaker will offer two of the aforementioned three engine options.

It is not news that the MG ZS SUV's petrol iteration is due to be launched in India. However, what is new is that the British automaker will not retail the vehicle as simply the MG ZS here. No, sir; if new reports are to be believed, MG Motor India intends to retail the IC engine-powered iteration of the ZS SUV in India with a different name. Of course, the automaker hasn't said what that name would be, but trust internet sleuths to figure it out nonetheless. And figure it out they did -- yep, we have yet another set of reports that claim the MG ZS petrol SUV will be retailed as the MG Astor SUV in India. The reason for this assertion? The fact that MG recently trademarked the name in the country.
