EAST LANSING – The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) formally welcomes Pino D. Colone, MD (Howell, MI), an Emergency Medicine Specialist, as the new President of the Society. Doctor Colone was appointed president during the 156th annual meeting of the MSMS House of Delegates held virtually on May 1st.
Doctor Colone is a board-certified emergency physician who earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Michigan. Doctor Colone also serves as the Vice Chair of the American Medical Association's Council on Constitution & Bylaws, on the Genesee County Medical Society Board of Directors, and is a member of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians.
