Metito awarded 42 million euro wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation project in Jordan

The agreement was signed between Muhammad Najjar, Minister of Water and Irrigation, and Moustafa Hasan, Metito Jordan, in Amman, Jordan.
AMMAN — The Jordan Ministry of Water and Irrigation has appointed Metito, a global provider of total intelligent water management and alternative energy solutions, to rehabilitate Central Irbid Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Wadi Al-Arab WWTP following a competitive bid.
The project worth 42 million euro will cut greenhouse emissions by approximately 6,600 metric tons annually and provide over 10 million cubic meters of treated effluent water per year, creating a more sustainable environment and a healthier community.
