Methuen father drowns trying to save son from rip current: 'He lived his whole life for his family'

Gary Simard was found unresponsive in the water about 75 yards from the shore at Salisbury Beach and was taken to a hospital in Seabrook Beach, N.H., where he was pronounced dead.
