An academic high achiever whose life descended into a cashed up, drug addicted mess has told a court she wants to be a doctor and is hitting the books to make it happen.
Kaori Celine Nakasi walked from Maroochydore District Court without punishment on Wednesday after being sentenced for a drug offence which related to a 2019 visit to a Coast police station.
The 25-year-old made headlines in June last year when she was sentenced in the same court for her ties to a police pursuit of a sports car and the lies a court heard she was coaxed into telling about it.
