Met says war memorial protest not illegal despite Sunak calling it 'affront to Armed Forces'

Police do not have the powers to arrest protesters for climbing on war memorials, the Met Commissioner has said, despite Rishi Sunak saying it was “an affront to our Armed Forces”.
