Police arrested the principal of a Mesa private school on suspicion of sexually assaulting two minors within the last three years, according to Chandler police.
Victor Zamora is a principal and teacher at Legacy Academy, which ranges from kindergarten to 12th grade. He reportedly admitted to sexually assaulting a boy who was 16 at the time and another minor, according to court records.
The abuse of the then 16-year-old happened twice in 2019, according to police.
Once in April, in the backseat of a car; then in May at one of the Legacy Academy offices, the records explained.
The victim told police that before the assault, Zamora tried to get him to enroll in Legacy Academy, where his siblings went to school, police explained.
