Merion Mercy Academy appoints Rebekah Adens as first Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Merion Mercy Academy is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rebekah Adens as the school’s first Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion effective July 1, 2021.
"Rebekah's appointment is the culmination of an invigorating and inclusive search process which involved participation from parents, students, alumnae, faculty and staff," said Laura Farrell, Head of School. "Her background and passion for education and advocacy closely reflect our school's Mercy core values. Rebekah will continue implementation of Merion's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan for Action and help develop and set in motion policies, procedures and programs that sustain an antiracist, diverse, equitable and inclusive school community."
