Memorial halls in China form alliance to remember war histroy, cherish peace

NANJING, December 14 -- At the dawn of China's seventh National Memorial Day for the Nanjing Massacre Victims, 21 memorial halls of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in China formed an alliance to remember war histroy and cherish peace.
Last month, three memerial halls, namely, the Museum of the War of the Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, "9.18" Historical Museum in Shenyang and Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, jointly initiated the establishment of an alliance for the memory of war and peace. The first batch of 21 member units was quickly decided after the proposal was issued. The secretariat was set up at the Institute of Nanjing Massacre History and International Peace Studies.
