Memorial Day weekend 2024 continues violent trend: 28 shot, 7 killed

Among the dead are 5-year-old Reign Ware, who was fatally shot in the abdomen while sitting in a parked car in the 200 block of South Campbell Avenue about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
