Member of public helped recover body of girl (8) from water at Fountainstown Beach as Cork community left devastated by tragedy

A young girl who died in a swimming accident in Fountainstown, Co Cork has been named locally as Emily Roman, who was a second class pupil at Templebreedy National School in Co Cork.
