Ahmad Yaakub, who represented Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department Datuk Arifin Ariff, made the call after conducting a survey around the town area together with District Council and DID officials, on Thursday.
The survey found that the drainage system around the town is dirty and overgrown with grass, causing not only the Membakut town but also nearby residential areas to be flooded.
